Needing to refresh my artistic soul, I decided to start the new year with a sojourn to the medieval towns of the Riviera di Ponente, also known as Liguria, on the Italian Riviera. I packed my brushes, sketchbooks, and watercolors and headed out. Landing in Milan I went directly to the train station and headed to Genoa, then to the seaside town of Albenga where I rented a car and explored the countryside. Here is my portfolio from the trip.
