In my decades living in Manhattan, I’ve watched whole neighborhoods disappear, giving way to chain stores, glass walled condos and office buildings. As the years passed and change swept the city, I tried to capture as much as I could of the changing face of this great metropolis. Looking back, they reflect a lost world.
